Registration

The selection of the contributed talks has now concluded. Nevertheless, all participants are allowed and encouraged to bring a poster. There is no application/vetting process or abstract submission for bringing a poster. Just bring it (and please do not write to us asking for permission). We have allocated a poster space for every participant. The size of each poster board is 150 cm by 100 cm. To encourage interaction between the subdisciplines, the posters are not grouped by categories. Allocation of poster space is on a first-come, first-served basis, and all of the posters are strategically located near the coffee/lunch area and bar. Each poster has a unique poster number.

All of the talk titles and abstracts, from both the contributed and invited talks, will be consolidated into a program booklet that will be available in electronic form only. (Physical copies of this booklet will not be provided.) However, a brochure or pamphlet containing the schedule of talks will be provided in physical form. Please note that the schedule on the website (under "Schedule") will always be the most updated version, i.e., last-minute changes may occur that prevent us from updating the brochure or booklet.

We kindly invite you to register for the conference. The link below will allow you to pay the 350 CHF registration fee, indicate your dietary preferences and also book your hotel accommodation. The hotels will provide a free bus pass for local transport of hotel guests within Davos. Registration for Exoplanets I ends on 1st June 2016. If you do not have a credit card or are encountering problems with registration, please write to Anina Kaufmann (Anina.Kaufmann 'at' davos.ch).

For other inquiries, please write to Kevin Heng directly (kevin.heng 'at' csh.unibe.ch). We are a non-profit entity and financial aid is entirely funded by the registration fees of the participants, so it is impossible to estimate the exact amount awarded until after abstract submission closes (on 31st March 2016). Financial aid will take the form of a waiver of the 350 CHF registration fee. Note that the 350 CHF fee goes towards funding the welcome reception, 10 coffee/tea breaks, 5 lunches and conference dinner, is part of the normal expenses incurred by a participant and is therefore not "free". Individuals who wish to bring partners or family members to the conference dinner need to pay 50 CHF per person.
